Well it's been a bit since I wrote, but we have been patiently waiting for Starry girl to start her cycle so we could have some puppies! We had hoped for 2 litters this year, but it wasn't to be. Starry has waited almost exactly a year to begin her cycle and we had to give it a little push with some medication. We are still waiting although things look promising. She has been to the vet weekly ($$) for the last month and she still walks in with a
happy trot even though she must know they are going to poke her again.

She really is a STAR. So patient and loving. Until a male gets to close, then Watch Out! She isn't ready and nothing we can do will make it so. When dealing with these lovely living beings, it means that nothing is certain.
News! We contacted the MIND Institute at UC Davis today to see if we could partner with a study or a behavioral aspect of what they do for children on the autism spectrum. Starry will make a WONDERFUL therapy dog. After the next litter please! We are looking to our future always so that we can be of service to our community and share with the farther out reaching communities as well. I'll keep you posted, as always. Thanks for listening!
