B.E.S.T. Service Dogs, a local nonprofit organization, is hosting an Art Show/Sale to raise funds to bring trained service dogs to those affected by autism and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Last year’s event hosted over 20 local artists across various media donating thier art for this event. The event highlighted, painting, sculpture, quilting, photography, screen printing, mural art and more. All artists are well established and local to Sacramento.
The event will be held in a garden setting with food, drinks, and music.
Established in 2016, we are a local (Northern California ) non-profit (501c3) organization called B.E.S.T. Service Dogs. The acronym stands for Breeding, Education, Service and Training. We breed and train specially selected Labrador Retrievers as service dogs and therapy dogs, along with providing service dog education to the community. Our client focus is children on the autism spectrum and veterans suffering from PTSD. Our puppies change lives! Our partners include Paws for Purple Hearts, 4 Paws 2 Freedom and Good Dog Service Canines. We are currently providing training for veterans local VFW post 8358 in their Owner Trained Service Dog program.
Meet the artists and the dogs!
