I am sorry to say that we are no longer providing puppies for service. We have retired. This last litter was super fun and super smart and we are looking forward to hearing of their success!
Out of the 6 pups, 5 went into service dog training, two to Connecticut, one to Colorado, one here locally, one to the Bay area, One was bought as a pet companion to an earlier bred pup, now 3 years old!
We have placed 30 puppies in training over the last 10 years, and I am happy to say that I have done what I set out to do - create more opportunities for more people to have a servie dog. I have completed my mission for B.E.S.T. Breeding, Education, Service and Training.
We have provided education to many about the role of a service dog and the special training it takes to mold a puppy in the right direction. We have trained Veterans on how to train their own dog for servce, and have trained many dogs in basic obedience. We have even shown our dogs at dog shows! Showing them means that they are the exact type of Labrador for their breed!
We have made sure our dogs and puppies are the heathiest they can be. Not that we havent had some rough times. As a breeder there are always things that come up that you havent' had/seen before. Breeding is NOT for the faint of heart! But we feel lucky and successful in spite of those challenges.
We still have our big dogs, Tucker, Starry, Raven and Joy and we will have them for the rest of their lives. They have served us well, and are part of our family.
Now the stories will be of how our puppies are helping others! We look forward to those stories!
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Thank you all for the support too.!
